Venue Hire

The Grignon Hall (GH) is a multipurpose function area based on our Senior School site that can be used to accommodate a range of events. From discos to drum workshops, and concerts to stage productions, the GH is a versatile and impressive space that is limited only by the imagination. We are able to tailor your experience to suit your requirements.

Our largest and perhaps our most desirable venue is used throughout term time as the main school dining hall. The facility is well lit and ideally suited to host large social events.

This beautiful space can be partitioned in accordance with the number of delegates.
 

Located directly opposite the main Senior school building, The Hunt Theatre serves as a spectacular venue for theatrical productions and workshops. With a capacity for approximately 150 spectators, the Theatre is an ideal setting for those hoping to rehearse and present a performing arts production. With a fully installed technical setup, we are able to provide support and advice concerning set design and the execution of your performance. The Theatre also has two dressing rooms.

Please note that as well as a hire fee, this venue requires the hire of our techical team at an additional cost.

Located within our Music School and directly opposite the Lord Riche Hall on the Senior School campus, the BKA is a modern space for concerts, conferences, seminars and speeches. With a seating capacity of 188, the venue is designed to accommodate music events that may require quality acoustics and with the possibility of additional break out space. The BKA can also be fitted to accommodate social functions. 

Located at our Prep School, The Ross Hall is a uniquely shaped staged venue which is ideal for small performances and rehearsals. The Ross Hall can accommodate a seated audience, or it may be utilised as a function room for standing delegates.

The Senior Sports Hall is designed to accommodate teams and groups of people across a range of sports and activities. The Sports Hall is fitted with basketball hoops and has recently had a brand new floor which is marked out for football, badminton, hockey and cricket.

We have 2 astros for hockey, tennis and football and 5 cricket nets available, as well as capacity for up to 14 tennis nets in Summer.

The Roed Sports Hall is situated at the Prep School. The hall is beautifully lit by natural light during the day and is marked out for basketball, badminton, football, hockey etc.

There are seven boarding houses available for hire at Felsted. Each of these boarding houses has its own character and personality, which allows us to recommend the right boarding house for you.

Please note that we are only able to accommodate residential guests during certain school holidays. During these times, our accommodation tends to book rather quickly, so it is worth contacting us as far in advance as possible for residential events you are planning.

Please note with all our accommodation, catering must be organised through the school.
