Eight boys from the U16A hockey team competed in the Essex round of the indoor competition at The Coopers' Company and Coborn School, against New Hall School. After starting the game slowly, Dylan Hughes scored the opening goal just before half-time. This gave the team confidence and along with a motivating team talk, we returned to the pitch all guns blazing!
 

The second half saw seven more goals scored, three by Harry Prideaux, one for Freddie Godfrey, one for Walter Forsey, one for Gus Latham and a second for Dylan Hughes. This convincing 8-0 win confirmed Felsted as Essex champions and puts us through to the regional competition on December 8 at UEA, Norwich.
