In the final game of the season our 1st XI girls played RHS at home on the front. We lost the toss and were told to field first.
 

From ball one we demonstrated some excellent bowling in particular Katie A, Poppy F and Olivia R who successfully bowled at batters who are considerably older than them.

Wickets fell regularly which meant as a team we could keep the pressure on. RHS finished their 20 overs on 117 runs. Jess and Ruby opened the batting and played with such freedom. They played to their strengths, striking the ball with such power and running well between the wickets. Jess and Ruby chased down the runs in just 11 overs. Jess 70* and Ruby 29*.  

A convincing win against RHS was an excellent way to finish off the season and means the 1st XI finish unbeaten. It has been an absolute pleasure to coach this team, each one of them have given their all and I wish them all the best for the future.
