The 1st XV were challenged to film a skill which would then be uploaded onto Twitter so that other pupils would be able to try and replicate it. The first person to rise to the challenge was Tristan S, 1st XV and Saracens prop. Tristan's skill of a 20m backwards pass soon caught the eye of the rugby media.
World Rugby contacted me immediately to ask if they could use his clip for their post of 'Rugby in Lockdown' Within the first day his video was seen over 11,000 times, now reaching over 30,000 with many positive comments.
The other player who also posted a skill was 1st XV Fly Half Alfie S , with his video also receiving many views.
Today I asked the 1stXV to come up with a challenge or skill to share. @TristanS200 @Saracens Senior Academy prop has certainly set the bar high with this effort! @FelstedSchool @FelstedSport @dirfelstedsport @FifteenRugbyXV pic.twitter.com/7gtUi7X9ZQ
