Felsted's Jess O and Guy M-J have been selected for the England U16 girls' and boys' squads respectively for the upcoming season. This is the second year Jess has been selected, whilst this is Guy's debut for the squad. 

This selection comes after a number of trial stages which have taken place across the country.  Both players will now attend training camps ready for their upcoming season. Unfortunately many of their matches abroad have had to be cancelled or postponed but they are looking forward to playing Scotland and Wales, and the boys' team also has an upcoming match against England Women!

Felsted’s Director of Hockey and Welsh International Jo Westwood comments; “To play for your country is a huge achievement and many have this in their objectives as an athlete. Jess and Guy work very hard behind the scenes and they are both a pleasure to work with on a weekly basis. We as a school are very proud of them and will continue to support them.”

Jess also plays high level cricket, representing the Essex Womens' T20 as well as playing for the Felsted 1st XI Cricket and Hockey. Meanwhile Guy plays for Old Loughtonians Hockey Club, as well as for the Felsted 1st XI.
