Julia Robertson has retired after 27 years of service at Felsted Prep School. Julia married Tim in March 1988 and became immersed in the Felsted Prep School experience which included a canal boat school trip in the Summer Term of ‘88.

In 1995 Julia moved into the boarding house and became a boarding house Matron, assisting with evening duties. As Felsted became co-educational, Julia’s boarding house role gradually developed into that of house parent alongside Tim. In September 2003 Julia joined the Pre-Prep as a full time teacher in Year 2. Laterly, she taught in Reception Years becoming head of EYFS and then Deputy Head in Stewart House from 2015
