U15 Netball Team Crowned World Schools Cup Silver Medallists

Felsted's U15 netball team travelled to Loughborough to compete in the prestigious World Schools Cup, taking on some of the strongest school teams from across the UK, the UAE and South Africa in an exciting three-day tournament.

The competition began with an opening All Stars fixture against a Rest of the World team, with Holly P proudly representing the Games in the showcase match.

Throughout the tournament, the Felsted squad demonstrated exceptional teamwork, determination and skill, producing a series of outstanding performances to secure their place in the Cup Final. After an intensely contested match, they finished as silver medallists - a remarkable achievement against high-quality international opposition.

The squad, made up of both Year 9 and Year 10 pupils, showed maturity beyond their years, with many competing against older players. Captain Freya R led by example throughout the weekend and was deservedly named Player of the Match in the semi-final for her outstanding performance and leadership.

Battling challenging conditions, strong opposition and a demanding schedule, the team's success is a testament to the hard work, resilience and commitment they have shown throughout the year. Their silver medal finish reflects not only their talent on court but also the strength of the Felsted netball programme.
