This year, the Senior Maths Challenge took place on Tuesday 4 October, when 76 Sixth Form students took part. Thirty-three of them succeeded in gaining an award, a great achievement! There were 25 bronze, 5 silver and 3 gold awards, with Rocco G achieving Best in School. Guy M-J progressed through to the next round, the Senior Kangaroo, with Toby C and Rocco G progressing through to the British Maths Olympiad - an outstanding achievement. Both of these follow-on rounds took place on Wednesday 16 November - we are still awaiting the results of this.

Well done to all who took part and many congratulations to those who triumphed with an award! Bronze and Silver certificates have been given out during lessons but Gold and Best in Year certificates will be celebrated in the End of Term Lists and go to:

Rocco G – Best in School and Gold Award
Toby C - Gold Award
Guy M-J - Best in Year and Gold Award
