After half term pupils will need to carry a reading book with them in their school bag: to read at the beginning of English lessons, and to read in prep sessions for a short while as well as in house, particularly before lights out for boarders.

Boarders will also get further opportunities in the evening to visit the library as part of the evening provision of boarding to support their reading for pleasure. Last Friday Year 9 and 10 pupils were introduced to the newly revamped ‘Reading Challenge’.
