U12 Cs vs BSC 0-3

Thank you Florence C and Francesca BR for stepping up and helping the C team during this match. Although we lost, the score was definitely not a reflection of the girls hard work and determination during the game.The defenders consistently showed great resistance against the strong BSC forwards. Well done to Chloe C for being awarded player of the match.  

U12 Ds Vs BSC 1-1 
(LAG)
Well done to all the players for a very persistent and evenly matched game which resulted in a draw. The defenders showed great communication and stayed consistently strong. Unfortunately a goal was scored in the last minutes of play. It is was beneficial for both teams to have the multiple opportunities to practice their skills in short corners. Well done to Shiro G for being awarded player of the match.

U10 Bs 3-0 vs BSC(ENG)
Well done to the U10 Bs with their fantastic 3-0 win against Bishop Stortford College. The girls demonstrated their sheer determination and immense teamwork from start to finish. Each player held their positions well and defended strongly. Well done to Maddie who scored two great and well deserved goals in the second half and also to Darcey to scored taking us to victory in the last 5 minutes of play. POM: Madddie

U11Cs 0-1 vs BSC (ENG)
Despite the loss, the girls played well. A little more focus on spacing and moving wider across the pitch will be worked on in training to make sure that more opportunities are created as a team. Tillie M and Tilie T defended the D superbly, holding their own until the final 2 minutes when the BSC goal went in. Great work in defending and focus on looking up. POM: Zara (GK)

U10C 0-4 vs BSC
The girls worked really hard against a strong side. They demonstrated good teamwork and had a few shots on goal. The girls need to work on moving towards the ball next week, so that they can create more opportunities for scoring.

U11A 1-6 vs BSC
Learnt a great deal from the experience but the girls showed real determination and played really well against a stronger opposition. They were able to benefit from lots of in match short corner practise both attacking and defending. The girls were really good at communication and closing down the ball around the pitch. Next week we aim to work or closing off angles are the defenders when in our D in order to limit goal scoring opportunities for the opposition.

U12D vs Holmwood House U13B
It was a mighty game and a  great match. Our defence looked really strong and they had most of the play. Whilst trying to strengthen the forward line we worked brilliantly as a team, linking extremely well with each other. I was pleased to see the girls transferring the ball and attacking quickly, resulting in some fantastic runs at goal but unfortunately we could not convert into goals.  Mrs Green

U12s v Health Mount 1-1  LAG
The U12 C team played an exciting game of hockey, they had good possession of the ball and showed off their skills we have been honing during practices. Both teams were evenly matched which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Congratulations to Tilly C for being in the right place at the right time and scoring a wonderful goal. Well done to everybody for continuously pushing for goals. Special mention to Chloe C POM and Sophie H for playing for the Bs & C’s.

U12s B v Heath Mount 2-2 LAG
Well done to the  U12 B team this week for a great game that showed good collaboration of all of the players and skill. The girls continued to improve throughout the match and were able to successfully score 2 quality goals. The game was a very equal one  which resulted in a 2-2 draw, Well done to Florence for scoring those goals and congratulations to Emily H for being awarded the player of the match.Special mention to Sophie S and Chloe C for helping out with this game.

U10B vs Heath Mount 3-2
The U10B showed real determination going into the second half down two goals. They communicated really well and made much better team plays passing around players into space rather than trying to run through the pack. They managed to score 3 good goals in the second half to win. Congratulations to Darcey R for player of the match and a really good team and game spirit throughout the game.
