Our Wellbeing Week on 'Empowerment'

We are very nearly at the end of our Prep School Wellbeing Week, where the topic focus has been on 'Empowerment'. Across the School, in PSHE and Assembly time, pupils have been able to consider what it takes for someone to feel strong, confident and certain of themselves. Empowerment and confidence go hand-in-hand with one another. Sometimes we rely on the compliments from others to build-up our own character, but also through practice we can learn to champion ourselves for what it is that we have accomplished.

Ffrome Court, Cloisters & Courtauld House enjoyed having some visiting pupils from the Senior School in their Phase assemblies, where they spoke about their own moments of empowerment and resilience. This inspired our Prep School pupils to think about their own goals. Thank you very much to our Senior School pupils for their contributions here!

In Assembly on Thursday, Years 3-6 looked at four different role-models: Marcus Rashford, JK Rowling, Tim Peake and Kamala Harris. All of these individuals have their own unique stories of how they came to be in the positions that they are in today.

We hope that Wellbeing Week has given every pupil that quick moment of self-reflection, where they have been able to think about who (or what) inspires them, but also the journey that each of them can take to feel empowered and make positive change to themselves and others.
