OF James Knight’s Triathlon Challenge in Memory of Close Friend

OF James Knight (fdec12-22) will be undertaking a monumental physical challenge this year to raise money for the Grace O’Malley Kumar Foundation - Prism the Gift Fund.

Grace, a 19 year-old medical student, tragically lost her life in a knife attack in Nottingham last year. Near neighbours, James and Grace grew up as best friends since nursery.

James will be competing in a series of duathlons and triathlons across the UK to raise funds for the Foundation, culminating in a herculean Olympic triathlon later this year.

“To see her go so early is really tough, but I know she’d want me to do anything positive I can with the rest of my life, so by getting the Foundation out there, and raising money for it, it is the least I can do,” James told us.

Other members of the Knight family have paid tribute to Grace and raised money for her Foundation, including James’s younger brother, Charlie, who raised an incredible £1,000 by running a book stall for Felsted Prep School Fun for Funds Fete.

James is looking to raise £5,000 and is grateful to anyone, inside the Felsted community and beyond, who can donate to the Foundation and support his journey.
