Felsted Cup Senior Cricket and Tennis

Felsted Cricket and Tennis has had success this week in the recent cup matches and we look forward to a good weekend of sport.

Felsted U15 Girls' Cricket played Grays Convent High School in the first round of the T20 Junior Girls Cup. Grays Convent won the toss and chose to field first. Felsted posted a total of 199 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Katie A and Siena B led the innings with 70* and 30 runs, respectively, forming a strong partnership.

Grays Convent High School faced the challenging task of chasing down Felsted's score. They put up a valiant fight, however, they fell short and ended with 108 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Although Felsted emerged as the winners, both teams displayed sportsmanship and played with determination. The match was a testament to the growing talent in girls' cricket, and it emphasised the importance of supporting women's cricket at all levels.

We extend our appreciation to Grays Convent for hosting the fixture. As the girls' cricket scene continues to evolve, matches like these serve as inspiration and remind us of the passion these players have for the game. We congratulate Felsted on their victory and look forward to the remainder of the Cup run.
