On 16 March our U16 team of Austin K, Freddie WK, Christopher D, Freddie Y & Sachiko S travelled to Birmingham to play in the English National Schools Plate Finals held at the Edgbaston Priory Club.

The team put in a fantastic performance to finish in 2nd place in this major national event. In the quarter-finals a 4-1 win vs Exeter School was followed by a tight encounter with Sevenoaks in the semi-final. With the fixture tied at 2-2 Freddie WK put in a commanding performance to lead the side to a 3-2 victory. In the final, a strong Dame Allan's side triumphed 4-1 after some closely fought matches.

Congratulations to the whole team on an outstanding effort to not only reach the finals but to compete so strongly at the national level.
