English National Schools Championships Plate Finals

On 13 March our U14 team of Harrison B, Alex M, Luca P, Archie S and Amelia H took part in the English National Schools Championships Plate Finals at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham. They performed valiantly on the national stage finishing in 3rd place to be awarded bronze medals. This was an outstanding performance on the squash courts by our young team at one of the nation’s top facilities.

A tight encounter with Manchester Grammar School led to a 3-2 victory with wins for our top 3 seeds. The next fixture was against the eventual winners, King's College Taunton, in which our players fought bravely against older opponents but lost the tie 0-5. In the 3rd/4th play-off Felsted put their experience and hard work in coaching sessions to very effective use to pull off a commanding 5-0 win to secure the bronze medal.
