Our Felsted Cloisters and Ffrome Court choirs took part in a Guinness World Record attempt on Tuesday 15 June. The Young Voices foundation teamed up with GWR to attempt to break the record for the largest simultaneous sing-along and the largest simultaneous sign-along, raising funds for the charity 'place2be'.
66 of our children took part across two school venues, and sang the Bill Withers classic 'Lovely Day'. Combined with over 360,000 other children from across the world, they were able to come together virtually to record this attempt. The choirs were zoomed straight to big screens in the O2 Arena, and were able to see and sing along with the live stream with Billy Ocean, Ruti and Yolanda Brown.
The children had fun warming up their bodies and voices before the singing attempt. Watch this space to see if we have helped break a world record!
