LAMDA Students All Receive Distinctions
We are pleased to be able to report that in the most recent December LAMDA examinations, all twenty-three Senior pupils were awarded Distinctions (see the list below). This is a remarkable outcome as the highest grade of a distinction is incredibly hard to achieve and the pupils involved prepared their examination pieces whilst remote learning in the last lockdown. We would like to congratulate each and every pupil for their hard work and fantastic results.
Fifteen pupils took Medal Awards in Acting or Speaking in Public (Grades 6-8). Those pupils now have UCAS points (Grade 6 =12 points, Grade 7 = 16 points, Grade 8 =30 points) Moreover, one Distinction was awarded for Level 3 in Shakespeare which is an extremely challenging qualification and also carries UCAS points.

We were fortunate that our December 2020 LAMDA Examinations were able to go ahead in person at school. We hope that future examinations will be taken at school, however, we are able to orchestrate online exams in times of lockdown should we need to.
