Preparatory School and Follyfield 1972-1980

Simon Carter was a music scholar and President of the Bee Keeping Society.

After leaving Felsted in 1980, Simon went on to study Immunology at Chelsea College, University of London. In 1985, Simon saw a gap in the market for elite British menswear and accessories in London and changed career course, starting his own fashion company, Simon Carter, London. The retailer is known for their accessories such as cufflinks, watches, jewellery, luggage, vibrant shirts and jackets.

The business has also branched out into clothing, with the opening of stores in Bloomsbury, Buckinghamshire, Canada and Mayfair to name a few. Along with independent stores, the brand is stocked in prestigious stores including Bloomingdale's, Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols, Liberty and Selfridges.
