Sarah Blanc achieved her goal in 2020 and will be joining the prestigious Italia Conti Academy to study professional dance in September 2020!  Sarah achieved an impressive 38 points in the IB Diploma, studying Psychology, Economics, Biology, English, French and Maths at the same time as balancing her significant dancing commitments. Sarah has been dancing since she was four and recently qualified for the Nationals in contemporary dance, which was due to take place in May. Sarah has also worked towards her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and represented Felsted on the hockey field. During lockdown her dance group raised over £8,000 for the NHS by completing a 12 hour virtual danceathon. 

I chose to study the IB because I didn’t want to limit myself to just three subjects and I felt that it provided me with a more well rounded education. Secondly it gave me a strong foundation that I can fall back on in the future if I wish to.
