Whilst at Felsted, John was Head of House, Head Scout and School Prefect.
John studied Medicine at The London Hospital and then trained to become an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University of Toronto. He also has a Joint Honours degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from McGill University. His career includes working with CARE in Tunisia, Jordan, Afghanistan and Uganda. He was a founding member of World Orthopaedic Concern, an international society for orthopaedic education and care in developing countries.
In his illustrious career, he was invested as an Officer of the Order of Canada and as an Officier de l”Ordre de la Republique Tunisienne. He was also awarded the Queen’s Silver and Diamond Jubilee Medals.
