I had some friends who already attended Felsted who told me that it was a really lovely school and that there were lots of students from different backgrounds. When I arrived I was so excited to make friends and share my culture with them. I think that’s something Felsted is really special for.
I studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A Level alongside the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). I really enjoyed Biology in particular as I love the practical work including dissection. It was really interesting to learn about body functions and how the body works. During the application process to Medicine my teacher was really supportive, even during the lockdown. If you apply to Medicine you have to do lots of interviews and pre interview assessments so the teacher arranged some mock interviews with me and they found some Doctors to do interviews with me which was a really good opportunity and helped prepare me for what the actual interview is like. They also helped alot with my personal statement.
What has impressed me the most is that it is really really safe here at Felsted. It has been one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you Felsted! (Michelle joined Felsted in Yr 10 and stayed at Felsted during the lockdown period in April 2020).
