Preparatory School, Deacon's and Windsor's 2002-2015

Whilst at Felsted Max was a prefect, deputy head of house, sports scholar, captain of rugby, and represented the school in 1st team hockey, and cricket. He achieved the gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Max studied business studies, Geography, Philosophy and Ethics at Felsted. He then went on to study Business and Finance at Hertford University. Max played in the Premiership 7s at Franklin’s Gardens (2013) and the World Club 7s festival in Munster the same year. A try on his England U18 debut off the bench against France at Doncaster in February 2015 and a place in the starting side that beat Scotland 39-27 at Newcastle added to his distinctions.

Max captained England U18 and scored 16 points against South Africa in summer 2015. He secured his place in the England U20 international squad winning the World Championship in 2016 and the Six Nations Grand Slam and Triple Crown in 2017. He plays his rugby with Saracens.
