Junior Guildhall Music Scholar, Mariella B, achieved a strong set of GCSE results alongside her musical studies. Mariella plays Percussion at Junior Guildhall, studying there on Saturdays as part of Felsted’s proud partnership, and is also taking Piano and Electronic Music as additional studies. She is involved with their Symphony and Brass Band as well as the Percussion Ensemble. Mariella has especially enjoyed playing on tour with the Essex Youth Orchestra and performing in concerts with the Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra.
 

At Felsted Mariella also plays cello and is a member of the Funk Band, Junior Jazz and Senior Jazz bands, Steel Band and the school Orchestra. 

She is going on to study A Levels in Music, DTE and Politics and aims to carry on her musical studies after Sixth Form by studying at a music conservatoire.
