Fenella Alexander - UCL

Fenella Alexander achieved a world class 41 points, with top marks in English, History and Latin, alongside studying French, Chemistry and Maths, and will be studying History at UCL in September. At Felsted since the age of 4, Fenella was Deputy Head Girl and both an Academic and Drama Scholar at Felsted, taking full advantage of all the opportunities on offer. A member of the senior academic Andrews Society, Fenella was also a Sergeant in the Combined Cadet Force and represented the school in netball and tennis over her school years. With a stunning voice, Fenella could often be seen on the Felsted stage, most recently playing Madame Thenardier in the School’s production of Les Miserables.

Fenella chose the IB because it enabled her to study a broader range of subjects, and also provided several opportunities to become more involved in the school, such as partaking in MUN in the Lower Sixth. Having been at the school for such a substantial amount of time, Fenella is looking forward to university, and is glad that the IB Diploma has set her up with the life skills needed to succeed in the next chapter after Felsted.
