Is being given the opportunity to explore my passion for teaching, mindfulness and pastoral care.

I am an Old Felstedian (2003-2010) who now has the privilege of returning to the Prep School, having ‘re-joined’ as a Learning Assistant in 2013. After my first year back, the School funded my PGCE Teacher Training and I have been ever grateful for the professional and development opportunities that I have since gained.

I now lead the Prep School PSHE Department, as well as teach English, Maths and Science in Year 4. Felsted has continued to support me by allowing me to explore my passions of Mindfulness and pastoral care, also paying for any additional training that I have undertaken. I am a member of the Prep School Staff Wellbeing & Mindfulness groups and feel that the real community ethos between all members within the School makes it a very special place to work indeed.
