David Townsend is delighted to have achieved three A* grades in Maths, Biology and Chemistry respectively to secure his dream of studying Veterinary Medicine at Nottingham University. A Prefect and member of the Medical Society, David balanced his academic studies alongside his passion for sport, representing Felsted as Cricket Captain, in the rugby cup squad and 2nd XI hockey team. He also secured a Bronze Award in the British Biology Olympiad earlier this year and Chaired the Health Committee in the Felsted Model United Nations Conference.
