Gepp’s and Windsor’s 2014-2016

Ben was a sports scholar at Felsted and deputy head of house. He played 1st XI for Felsted and Chelmsford Cricket Club and 2nd XI for Essex County Cricket Club and the Hertfordshire senior team. He was awarded Cricket World's Performance of the Week in 2015 and an Academy contract with Essex County Cricket Club in 2015.

Whilst at Felsted, Ben broke the record once held by ex-England Cricketer and OF Derek Pringle, taking 68 wickets at an average of 7.78 in 2015. Ben was rewarded by being picked as the Wisden Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year, joining an illustrious list of former winners including Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler and James Taylor. He received his award at Lord's from Jonny Bairstow in 2016.
