Beatrice Zaccardi, a full boarder from Italy is delighted to have been accepted to read Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CAS Business School, part of City University London. Beatrice studied English, Spanish, Psychology, Economics, Biology and Maths as part of her IB Diploma, gaining a superb 40 points overall, a huge achievement when studying in a foreign language! Beatrice fully absorbed herself in Felsted school life, participated in Felsted’s Model United Nations as a Chair in addition to representing the school as a delegate in The Hague. She also took on the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, without having any prior experience. Beatrice balanced her academic studies with swimming and volunteered as a Spanish tutor to younger pupils to help them improve their language skills. She also presented to the school on International Women's day and on global warming to increase awareness in the school. 
 
I chose to study the IB at felsted because I wanted to expand my options by living away from home and thus out of my comfort zone. I wanted to learn how to live with so many different cultures, and most importantly how to respect the opinions of others, especially if different from mine.
