Anna Middendorf - Hockey

Follyfield and Garnetts 2011-2013

Whilst at Felsted Anna was a scholar, sports scholar and an avid player of hockey both here and for her club Zur Vahr back at her home in Germany, captaining the Felsted side.

Anna was awarded a full athletics scholarship to University of Connecticut to play field hockey for the nationally ranked Huskies and in 2015, they won the National Championship for the first time since 1985.

In 2016, Anna was named First Team All American, All Mideast Region First Team, All Big East First Team and All Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year. In 2017, she was chosen as the University of Connecticut’s nomination for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Anna graduated from the University with a Political Science Major.
