Senior School Virtual Chapel - 22.05.20

Good morning,

Well done on a good half term!  I have been amazed by the fortitude and the creativity shown.

It has not been an easy term for any of us I am sure. I am especially grateful then for all your help with the ‘2.6 Challenge’, the ‘Safi Coffee and Cards for Care Homes’ and other initiatives to help those most in need - thank you.

I hope Virtual Chapel has been thought-provoking, interesting, supportive and faithfully reflective over this last term.  Thank you for all your encouragement; I have enjoyed some stimulating conversations on economics, leadership, art, ethics and other issues.

If you would like to volunteer to take part in Virtual Chapel or if you have any feedback then please do use the response form here and I will get in touch as soon as possible.

Today’s Virtual Chapel introduces a famous passage from Philippians. It is heady theology - incarnation, kenosis, pericharisis, cross - and that’s just the first half! It is also wonderfully stimulating. Philippians cuts through present day statistics with a vision of just how special each person in this crisis really is.

I hope you enjoy!

Chapel Service 22 May:

As ever please be assured of my prayers.  Please do get in touch if I can help in any way.

Have a restful half term holiday.
