In March 2019 Rockport School hosted their first ever Globally Accessible Round Square Conference. This meant that along with a group of Felstedians, two hundred delegates were able to take part from thirteen countries around the world, as we visited some of the major sites surrounding Belfast. 

This included a stop at Giant's Causeway, a visit to Stormont, an open top bus tour of the local area and an afternoon at Rockport School. We also had the opportunity to listen to some fantastic keynote speakers, graft in the countryside as part of a service learning project and visit the Titanic Museum.

The history of Northern Ireland and the role of Belfast in the UK is fascinating, and combining that with opportunities to meet delegates from schools all over the world was a truly remarkable experience.
