Prep School Virtual Chapel - Making Good Choices - 15.10.20

Good morning,

Here is today’s Virtual Chapel Service:

I hope you enjoy it.

A prayer

Father God,

We ask for your grace,

grace for forgiveness,

grace for joy.

When there is discord, grant us peace,

Where there is division, please grant us the strength to find unity.

Prince of Peace, grant wisdom to all our leaders,

that we may seek mercy, serve justice and walk humbly before you.

When politics divides, when misunderstanding is entrenched,

please give us, by your Spirit of love, a vision of hope

so that we may persevere to build a future that brings all people together.

Amen.

Thank you Mr Warns.

UK-Aid tomorrow:

Please don’t forget to bring in your donations to help people in the Ukraine tomorrow.  If you would like to help then please bring in toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, nappies and warm clothes to give away. A full list is available from tutors, Leagues and the newsletter.

Feeding Families with the Felsted Mission:

After half term we will be aiming to provide food and basic essentials for 10 families in the Eastend of London, through the Felsted Mission.

I am grateful to the team at the Mission. At the end of the video Revd Chesney says, ‘We will handover to the Chaplain’ but now it really is our turn. Rather than ‘handover’, we need to stand-up and help those who need us. It costs just £12 each week to feed a family in the run up to Christmas, so we are wondering if we can feed 6 families for the 7 remaining weeks of term.  Please do join us, please be generous, listen out after half term to find out more.

As half term approaches please be assured of my prayers. Please do stay in touch.

God bless,

Rev
