Prep Boarders Enjoy Trip to Colchester Zoo

On Sunday, a group of pupils set off on the latest boarding and co‑curricular trip to Colchester Zoo, eager for a full day of exploration. With fantastic weather creating the perfect backdrop, they wandered through the zoo’s winding paths, taking time to discover each area and spot a wide variety of animals. Along the way, pupils also learned about the important conservation work the zoo undertakes to protect endangered species and support habitats around the world, adding a meaningful layer to their day of discovery.
 

As part of their visit, pupils also entered a photography competition, and the standard of entries was exceptionally high. The winning photograph was taken by Alyse and captured a perfectly timed moment of an otter enjoying a freshly caught fish.
