Lucinda P (Yr 5) has raised £630 for the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland Charity after leading a successful pop-up coffee and cake fundraiser hosted in the garden of her grandparents in Londonderry over the summer! Each year Lucinda aims to run a little shop to raise money for a local charity. 
 

Helped by her whole family, including her sister Arabella (Yr 2), Lucinda baked for three days, using skills she'd learnt in her online Cubs class. She also designed posters to advertise her event to the local neighbourhood, which helped her raise such an impressive total despite having very little passing trade. 
 

The Air Ambulance  were so amazed to hear of Lucinda's efforts and invited the family to spend an afternoon wtih them to meet one of the paramedics and helicopter navigator!
