Since lockdown, I have started my own charity, Connect SG to support the women and children at KK Women's and Children's Hospital in Singapore. The KKH health fund provides much needed healthcare and supports research for patients with terminal conditions.
In light of the current situation, this is becoming increasingly more important, but also difficult to do. Like many other families around the world, many patients are unable to be with their families due to risk of spreading the virus.
Thus, in addition to raising monetary donations, I have been making and donating bracelets for the children at KK Hospital to let them know we are thinking of them. I have also recently been in contact with Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH) and have made 50 bracelets to donate to them too. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
