Felsted meets Fels-Teddy the Guide Dog Puppy

After raising £2,500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Felsted Pre-Prep have been able to sponsor their very own Guide Dog puppy, which the children have named Teddy.

Teddy and his trainer visited Felsted for the first time in an assembly, where the children learned about some of his everyday tasks that make up his training, including travelling on a bus, walking around a town and going into shops and cafes. He is also learning how to behave around other animals, particularly cats.

The young Felstedians will continue to receive updates every four months to see how Teddy is progressing, and he will be back to visit so the children can see his improvement.

The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting Teddy for the first time and developing their own understanding of how the money they raised goes towards helping other people.
