D-Day 75th Anniversary - In Memory of Lt John Allen (b 37-40)
Felsted remembers the extraordinary events of D-Day 75 years ago, the largest combined land, air and naval operation in history.
OF Lt John Allen (b 37-40) commanded a flail tank in the assault of Sword Beach on 6 June 1944 and was killed, aged 21, with three others when his tank was bombed at the Normandy landing.
