The Sound of Summer

The Sound of Summer

As we come to the end of the final full week of the academic year, there is a sense of excitement across the school. With just a few days to go until the Inter-House Athletics and end of term on Tuesday, followed by Upper Sixth Speech Day and the Leavers’ Ball on Wednesday, we are looking forward to a wonderful series of events that bring our community together to celebrate another successful year at Felsted.

The extreme hot weather this week has meant we have had to adjust some of our plans during the school day, but we are proud of how the whole community has responded. Families have been understanding of rescheduled events, staff have kept spirits high, and pupils have shown maturity and patience throughout.

One of the standout moments of the week was our Summer Celebration Concert, where the school community came together for an evening of exceptional music making. The concert showcased the breadth of talent across the school and highlighted the integral role that music plays in life at Felsted.

With temperatures set to remain particularly warm, we hope that everyone manages to stay as cool and comfortable as possible. There is still so much to look forward to, and we are excited to welcome families, friends and pupils to the celebrations ahead.

As always, these final moments of the year give us the chance to reflect, to celebrate achievements, and to enjoy the many experiences that bring our community together. We look forward to seeing you all at our end‑of‑term events.

With best wishes
