The Excitement is Building

Dear Felsted Families,

As I look back on this week, it has been full of wonderful moments that highlight the truly amazing nature of our children, parents, and staff team. We have taken our very first steps towards the next academic year, and it has been beautiful to watch our community in action. Our families have shown such warmth in welcoming the new families who will be joining us, already forging the beginnings of wonderful new friendships. At the same time, the children have loved meeting the new teachers introduced this week, looking forward with genuine excitement to the incredible opportunities that lie in front of them as they get ready for their next year groups.

Building and maintaining that special sense of connection is at the heart of everything we do, and we want to ensure that momentum carries right through the holidays. With that in mind, we will be reaching out to our 2026/7 group of parent representatives next week. Our hope is to get everything in place ahead of time so that the summer break can include plenty of informal opportunities for families to get together and connect before the new school year begins.

Looking ahead to next week, the excitement in the school is absolutely palpable as our Years 5 & 6 cast and crew put the final touches on our Mary Poppins production. The energy, imagination, and dedication behind the scenes have been nothing short of spectacular, and we are beyond excited to see the curtains rise. It promises to be a practically perfect show!

Alongside the theatrical magic, we are also looking forward to the upcoming Celebration Events yet to take place across the school. These moments are always a highlight of the year, providing a wonderful opportunity to showcase the exceptionally high standard of learning achieved across all year groups. It is a joy to reflect on just how much our children have grown, excelled, and inspired us over the past months, and I very much look forward to celebrating their achievements alongside you. If you have not yet replied, please let us know you will be attending via the various invitations that have recently been sent out.
