Sunshine and Opportunity

Dear Felsted families,

It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to the Prep School for the start of the Summer term. As we look ahead to a term filled with sunshine and opportunity, our focus is on making every minute count and putting our Values into Action.

George Masters has spoken of the story of the good Samaritan and how values lead the way in all we do and how we have the agency to make decisions about the choices we make each and every day. Our first assembly of the term focused on a powerful mantra: ‘You get MORE of what you NOTICE.’ We challenged the pupils to notice the positive actions of those around them.

We are making a school-wide effort to shout about what our Felsted Values actually mean. To do this, we are asking everyone to TELL their friends, TELL their teachers, and TELL our Felsted families when they see these values being lived out. Let’s keep our five values at the forefront of everything we do:

Summer Term Highlights to Look Forward To
The calendar is already bursting with exciting events that will make this term truly memorable:

• Mary Poppins: We are all eagerly anticipating this term's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious production.
• Sports & Matches: A busy season of squash, cricket, tennis, and athletics events is ahead of us and thank you as always for your support of our young athletes across all areas.
• Live Bake Off: Get ready for some culinary creativity in this term's highlight competition!
• Pan Fest: We look forward to a vibrant celebration of our talented steel bands celebrating 20 years in our first ‘Pan Fest' and I look forward to seeing you there!

Let's make this Summer term our best one yet where we all move forward with our shared values guiding our steps.
