Prep Head's Blog: Thank You

Prep Head's Blog: Thank You

Dear Felsted Families,

This Wednesday marked a welcomed return of warmer weather, albeit briefly, and it was truly delightful to witness the high standard of cricket on display. Our Year 7 & 8 girls, in particular, showcased excellent teamwork skills alongside determined and calm play - well done to all! Stay tuned for more detailed match reports in the near future!

In the spirit of safety during outdoor events, I'd like to firmly remind all our families about the importance of wearing school caps and hats. Having these items readily available as part of the uniform will help us uphold a sun-safe approach, ensuring our children can fully enjoy playtimes and sports sessions. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your incredible support during last week’s Giving Day. Your generosity has been nothing short of outstanding, and I would like to express my deepest thanks to the entire Felsted Team for their enthusiasm, as well as to our community for all the contributions made.

Our pupils are still buzzing with excitement about the impact of meeting Lieutenant Jack Rye, and such experiences play a vital role in character development, empowering our children to make a positive difference in the lives of others. If you have not done so already, please do follow this link to hear more about his story. Felsted Giving Day!

As we move towards this bank holiday weekend, I hope you have some restful days ahead. I know I will see many of you at the ball on Saturday too!

With warm wishes,

Miranda Norris
