Prep Head's Blog: Felsted Voice
Dear Felsted families
I write this after meeting with the children in Year 3 to Year 7 in our last assembly of the year.
Celebrating achievements and reviewing the past year has been a theme over the last few weeks. Our dedicated team has been composing the celebratory reports, our performers are reaching their final performances, and our last matches and fixtures are being played with determination.
Over the course of the year, the pupil leadership team has been gathering ideas from Stewart House to Courtauld House, and we took this opportunity to share some of the outcomes. Already, I have had two eager young pupils race to my office to talk about basketball hoops and ideas for more playground equipment. I love the energy and enthusiasm to move forward!
You will have recently received a survey that I hope has reached you safely. This will help form our collective Felsted Voice so that we can collate ideas and move forward together. I explained to the children today that their ideas, the team’s ideas, and the parents’ ideas are all needed in order to keep listening and keep making the right changes for the right reasons.
Thank you so much for your engagement with the survey and for your constructive ideas that help us all to grow and thrive as a Felsted Community.
Looking forward to next week, I am very excited about seeing you all at the various events and the final Speech Day.
Enjoy the wonderful achievements and news in this week’s newsletter, and have a wonderful weekend ahead.
With warm wishes,
Miranda
