'Hope'

'Hope'

Dear Felsted Families,

This week, the theme of ‘Hope’ has been integrated into assemblies, our chapel service and in prayer and contemplation spaces around the school as part of our Lenten Address Week.

In last week’s chapel service, Grignon took us on an inspirational reflection regarding teamwork and the power of working together.

My hope is that these messages shared by our learners across all ages enable us to continue to work together as a Felsted community.

Building on the teamwork shown by our sports players last week, the cast of Bugsy have wowed us all with their immersive performances. Every single cast and crew member deserves huge amounts of praise for this ambitious and skilful production. I cannot wait to see it again tomorrow!

The start of this week also showcased our finalists in our annual speech competition centred around the United Nations ideals and rights. The standard of public speaking across the school is excellent and for those who also attended the LAMDA evening this week, this standard extended across musical theatre and drama performances.

Next week, the final week of our Spring Term, sees even more action with the Felsted Fun Run on Saturday morning followed by League Cross-country on Wednesday afternoon - another annual highlight!

With warm wishes to all and a hope for a restful weekend ahead,

Miranda
