Young Engineers Leader’s Award 2019

As part of our Year 6 Passport programme, all our Year 6 pupils entered the Primary Young Engineers Leader’s Award competition using their Science, DT and Computer Science lessons.

In the South Eastern region there were a staggering 3,361 entries this year, with only 106 of them shortlisted and then chosen to be put on display alongside the 23 winners, at the first Primary Engineer and Secondary Engineer Leaders Award Exhibition in the South East.

This Public Exhibition was held at the Augustine Hall, Canterbury Christ Church University last Tuesday, 11th June.

Three of our pupils were invited to come to the exhibition and see their own designs on display:

  • James S: Judges' Highly Commended
  • Ethan A: Distinction and Shortlisted
  • Thomas A: Distinction and Shortlisted

Well done to these pupils for their creativity, imagination and presentation of their work!
