Wellbeing Week - Own Your Own Character

Prep School PSHE sessions have had the wellbeing theme of 'Own your Character', focussing on helping pupils to identify the positive traits that make up their characters. We have used the message of 'Diversity' to reiterate how everyone's character can be celebrated differently.

In addition, we have also had two wonderful visits from Pete, the Fitness Coach, with his 'A - Life' Workshops.

On Thursday the Year 8's enjoyed an interactive Drug & Alcohol awareness session and there were also Healthy Living Workshops available for many of our other Year groups on Friday.

Lindsey Page, Head of Wellbeing at Felsted School, came over to talk to Years 7 & 8 about the work her team do at Felsted with regards to our wellbeing and to invite the pupils to visit the Wellbeing Centre at the Senior School. She stressed the importance of our mental wellbeing being just as important as our physical wellbeing and how vital it was to take a few moments out every day to relax and recharge and refocus.

Well done and thank you to all our pupils who took part in these activities.

We are now looking forward to celebrating Anti-Bullying and Odd-Socks Day in November.  Further information about this will follow nearer the time.
