Felsted’s Guy Morley-Jacob has been awarded a 'Highly Commended' certificate for his entry in the Lytham St Annes Classical Association Classics Competition 2019.

This competition is open to any student aged 11-18, and this year asked pupils to prepare a presentation on their three favourite artefacts' from the Ancient World.

Guy's presentation focused on the Cave Canem mosaic in Pompeii, the Laocoon sculpture and the Krater of Hercules. The judges were very impressed with Guy's enthusiasm for the topic and the confident manner in which he presented his work.
