Felsted School Celebrates Another Year of Sixth Form Exam Success and Pupil Achievement
Felsted School is celebrating the achievements of its Sixth Form pupils following this year’s A Level, BTEC and IB Diploma results, with another strong set of outcomes reflecting the ambition, determination and breadth of talent within Felsted.
Felsted is delighted to recognise the hard work of its pupils, with 60% achieving A*-B or equivalent across all Sixth Form pathways. These results are testament to the commitment of the pupils and the expertise and encouragement of the teachers who have supported them throughout their Felsted journey.
This year’s results have opened the door to an exciting range of destinations, with pupils securing places at leading universities and prestigious apprenticeship programmes in the UK and overseas. Popular choices for this year’s cohort include Oxford, Durham, Bath, King’s College London and UCL, with subjects such as Maths, Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and Business Management reflecting the diversity of interests, aspirations and pathways pursued by Felstedians.
Key Highlights:
- So far, 90% of Felsted pupils are confirmed to progress to their choice of university, degree apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
- Across the year group, close to a third of all A Level, IB Diploma and BTEC entries achieved A*-A.
- 60% of pupils achieved A*-B and 85% achieved A*-C or equivalent across all pathways.
- Of Felsted’s top set GCSE pupils (representing the equivalent of a grammar school intake), 61% of all grades were A*-A and 92% of all grades were A*-B across all pathways.
Felsted’s top performer with an incredible four A*s is Logan Clayton.
Joining Felsted in Year 10, Logan has excelled across Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, combining academic ambition with a clear passion for mathematical and scientific subjects.

He will now continue this journey at the University of Bath, where he will study Mathematics.
Reflecting on his time at Felsted, Logan said: “I’ve had some great memories from my time boarding at Felsted. It’s really helped make strong connections with other students and friendships, and having a resident tutor on hand was immensely helpful.”
George Masters, Felsted’s Acting Head, said: “The Class of 2026 should be incredibly proud of the dedication, determination and enthusiasm they have shown throughout their time at Felsted. Their examination results are an important achievement, but they represent just one part of the contribution these young people have made to our community through sport, music, drama, adventure, leadership, service and countless other pursuits.
“It has been a privilege to see this year group grow into confident, thoughtful and ambitious young people, each developing their own talents, interests and aspirations along the way. We are delighted to see the exciting opportunities that now await them and wish every member of the Class of 2026 every success and happiness as they take their next steps.”
This year’s results highlight the strength and variety of academic pathways available at Felsted, where pupils are supported throughout their education to achieve highly, pursue the route that best suits their ambitions, strengths and future plans and develop the confidence and character to thrive beyond school.
