Drama Trip to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

On 16 January, a group of 60 Year 9 to L6 pupils went to watch the show ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ at the Bridge Theatre in London.

Below is a report from Ruby Hart (Yr 10):

It was an amazing experience with some thrilling and exciting scenes; there was no dull moment! The setting was incredible and very smart. The story was very well communicated and the props really helped to support the production.

The scenes were well planned and the show really involved the audience from the beginning to the end. The set designs were bold and clever, from the start where the children were being evacuated and the train sections moved in sequences. To the large, tall wardrobe and Narnia being a complete different world. The application of acrobatics with sheets, dancing and singing really added to the show.

It was a fantastic performance and it was extremely well performed by the actors. I would definitely recommend it.
