Cinematography at Felsted

Media Studies A Level students have been busy laying the foundations of their knowledge of cinematography in their prep task this week. They were asked to research a range of shot types and present them with definitions, best uses and their own original images.

Felsted’s Media Studies course is 30% practical and 70% written so this information will prove useful both when analysing media texts and when considering which shot types will most effectively create their desired meaning during production work.
