Felsted hosted a careers seminar on Property, Real Estate and Surveying for the Sixth Form. The visiting speakers were a group from Property Developer's, Weston Homes including OF Will Almond, along with parent James Archer, a Chartered Surveyor who runs Archer Building Consultancy. During their talk the speakers gave a brief outline of what they do in their current roles and the career path that led them to this point.

This was the first in a series of careers seminars coming up this term including Advertising by parent, Helen Knight on October 5th, Engineering by OF, Will Alexander on 12th October and a talk on Careers at Sea on 9th November. These seminars are available for pupils to opt in to, and are advertised by email.  

There will also be a number of other events surrounding studying abroad, including the Study Abroad Roadshow in Felsted’s Sixth Form Centre on Wednesday 26th and visits to both the USA Colleges Day in London on Saturday 29th September and the QS World Universities Fair on Sunday 7th October.

Throughout this term Felsted will also host mock interviews for pupils as well our annual Higher Education and Careers Fair on 6th December.
